Kalakriti Archives hosts one of the largest collection in India of antique maps, serigraphs, photographs and publications on the Indian Sub-Continent. It periodically showcases it’s collection through public exhibitions, limited edition publications and merchandise.
Kalakriti Archivecs conducted an exhibition titled “Cosmology to Cartography” at the National Museum, Delhi. The exhibition showcased some original maps from the fifteenth to the twentieth century. The maps were pronounced to be monumental original paintings of religious symbolism juxtaposed with earliest historical maps of India.
In collaboration with the Google Art Project, Kalakriti Archives is gradually digitising its entire collection and making it available to scholars across the world at no cost for research.
