 Professional Experience:

*Presently working as a free-lance photographer at her studio ' Photogene' Worked on advertising assignments for several companies.Portraits for Business India Magazine and private commissions Product photographs for catalogues, calendars and documentation.Travel and wildlife photographs for the print media.

*Documentation

 Worked on a documentation project of' Metal Household Utensils of Andhra Pradesh', 1994 for the Development Commissioner of Handicrafts (DCH), Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi. This was a two year project which included traveling all over Andhra Pradesh, photographing and documenting, different types of metal vessels (ritual, cooking, water-containers etc.)

Member of Crafts Council of Andhra Pradesh. since 1987. Traveled to craft villages, photographing and documenting crafts, and the lives of craftspeople, and providing design and market inputs for them.

Photographic documentation of the work and portraits of eminent artists like Laxma Goud Photographic documentation of 'Seven Artists- A Walk of Art" at Daira Art Gallery, Hyderabad 2003

Educational Experience

*Scripted and presented a 4 part T.V.serial, "Photoschool" for the Audio Visual Research Centre,(A.V. R.C.), Osmania University, Hyderabad, with the University Grants Commission 1988.These were instruction classes on Basic Photography.

*Scripted and presented a 3 part T.V. serial "Printmakin in India" for the Audio-Visual Research Centre, (A.V.R.C.), Osmania University, Hyderabad, with the University Grants Commission,l990 This was a programme on the different techniques of printmaking like etching, serigraphy, woodcut

*Conducted classes on Studio Photography at Disha School of Art & Appreciation

*Participated in Photographic Workshops conducted by the German Photographer Mr.Thomas Luttge Hyderabad 1986 and 1988

*A Photographic Workshop with 8 other photographers from Hyderabad, titled 'In and Around Charminar. The photographs were part of a larger exhibition, 'A Tale of Four Cities' 1987.
