Paradoxes of the City is an exhibition showcasing the breadth of contemporary art practice, oeuvre lies in painting nature intending to reconstruct, conserve and highlight the impact of urbanization on our natural surroundings. The exhibition features paintings and sculptures that are sensitive to the metropolitan way of life with visuals of flowers, fruits, mundane objects, and animals juxtaposed with cityscapes. Documenting their surroundings in their unique styles, rendering new contexts layered with meaning at the fulcrum of ethereal beauty and gloom, light and dark, hope and despair, and life and death, rooted in an urban dystopia.

It is in such a mobilization of varied presentations that the exhibition relates thunderous yet… the spirit of fresh, exciting artistic enterprise that has eclipsed its gloom with its passionate draughtsman ship, visually arresting conceptual interventions, and dynamism of material. Showcasing works by artists – Bholla Sreekanth Kurva, Dushyant Patel, Manisha Agarwal, and Subir Kumar Mandal.

We question the existence in such destructive times to bring back the equilibrium amiss in the world.
